How to Downgrade iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.2 or iOS 6.1.3 [Tutorial]

General Requirements:

  • Latest version of iFatih.
  • Download iTunes 11.0.5 (Windows).
  • Windows based PC.
  • Official IPSW files for iOS 6.1.3 / 6.1.2.
  • iPhone 4 running iOS 7.

How To Downgrade iOS 7 To iOS 6.1.3 / 6.1.2

Step No.1: First of all, look at your iTunes version, because the latest iTunes versions will not allows you to use custom iOS 7 firmware, so if you have upgraded iTunes to 11.1, then you need to remove this version and install iTunes 11.0.5 or other previous iTunes version on your Windows based PC.

Step No.2:  Now you have iTunes 11.0.5 installed on your PC, but don’t forget to restart your PC.

Step No.3: Download the latest version of iFaith from here.

Step No.4: Now launch iFaith. After launching iFaith, if you have already saved SHSH blobs on Cydia servers, then click “Show Available SHSH Caches on Server” and Select “Build signed IPSW w / Blobs“.

Step No.5: After selecting the downloaded firmware file iOS 6.1.2 or iOS 6.1.3 IPSW, iFatih will start to create custom IPSW file for your iPhone 4.

Step No.6: Now after getting custom IPSW file, you’ll need to put iPhone in DFU mode and connect it to your computer.

Step No.7: Open iTunes, Hold down the Shift button and click Restore.

Step No.8: From here you can select the custom iOS 6.1.2 / 6.1.3 IPSW firmware file which you have created in Step No. 5, click on open

Step 9: iTunes will take some time to finish the restoration process.


Done! Now iPhone 4 running iOS 6.1.2 or iOS 6.1.3 firmware, after iTunes finish the restoring process.
